I am a returning customer to this business. The most recent visit I asked for a perm. My hair was permed last Tuesday but has not held as a perm at all. My hair is essentially the same as before the perm. I understand that this is a cosmetic school so I should not expect perfection, so my concerns are not with the students entirely. However, I still expect it to be reasonably complete, which it is not. My concerns are mostly with management. When I went in to ask about possible ways to fix up my hair she immediately got defensive and angry. She had even seen my hair and acknowledged the hair was not permed at all. I’m disappointed in the way I spoken to and I’m also very disappointed that even with me showing up to prove physical evidence that the perk never held, I was spoken to very rudely and was given no solution. I also wanted to note that I followed standard care for perms and did not wash, comb, or tie up my hair for a few days. But there was already very little perming which eventually returned to my regular hair texture and style within a few days.

Everyone there was super nice and friendly! They did a good job on my eyebrows, and very respectful.

Great attitude love having her work on my hands

I am a black woman with really thick, curly, coarse, long natural hair. I wanted a deep condition and a trim and communicated my concern with being assigned an inexperienced student to cut my hair because doing my hair can be a challenge even for an experienced tech. I was reassured that only an experienced tech would be cutting my hair and there would be a rep from the school to supervise while my hair was being done. I was however, assigned a Vietnamese tech who only has experience doing Vietnamese hair and only speaks Vietnamese. He had no idea what he was doing with my hair and the school rep that was supposed to supervise, also was not familiar with doing my type of hair and was not present for the majority of the services including the cut. When the tech went to cut my hair, I requested that he cut my hair when it was dry and not in its wet state however, due to the language barrier, he proceeded to cut my hair while wet. He then attempted to blow dry my hair with no comb, brush etc. which caused me to have to communicate via Google that he would need a paddle brush. He then only dried my ends with a warm blow dryer and the root of my hair was still wet. I then requested to use the dryer to show him how to properly blow dry my type of hair however, he grabbed the blow dryer and attempted to dry the root of my hair by briskly moving his hand back and forth on my scalp which caused my hair to become extremely tangled. At the end of my experience, my hair was washed in cold water; I don't believe i received the deep conditioning treatment that i paid for because there was never any heat used at any point during my wash and i was never left to allow any deep conditioner to penatrate my hair. My hair was cut uneven because it was never combed through prior to the cut and was cut on wet hair; it took me hours to de-tangle my hair due to the improper way that it was dried. Due to this experience, I feel I paid for services I never received and I will not return to this salon for future services.

Facial was amazing, great Stylist Pedicure Stylist was great too I paid for a deluxe manicure but only got a regular one and the pedicure stylist was never told I was having a deluxe one, and at the end I asked and she put the lotion and hot towels. I did like the place but it needs better communication.

This place is a hidden gem! The admins and students are always so friendly and welcoming. I come for pedicures and manicures, and find it relaxing and enjoyable. Because it’s students working on you, they take their time and do not rush through. Give it a try, I think you’ll find it a great place!

The salon is very clean, and the technician is excellent. I love the products they use. I’m so happy with the results!

I left with my hair really frizzy and the instructor told the student it was fine. The instructor would have took over and made it right than just saying to add serum it looks fine. I understand she was a student but I had places to go after and I shouldn’t have been left like that. My pedicure and manicure came out good, just disappointed there was no white nail polish and the color selection was small.

Great cut, everyone was very nice I’ll be back.
